We are excited to welcome you back to Zaidy’s, and we have been working hard to reopen our doors!

Just as before, we’re serving our classic dishes that you’ve come to love over the last 35 years and are adding fresh new creations to celebrate our new ownership. Together, we’ll make Zaidy’s a Colorado staple again for the next 35 years, serving you and the next generation.

The history of Zaidy’s dates back to 1985, when Gerard Rudofsky opened his first restaurant downtown, at 17th & Curtis. Gerard eventually moved to Cherry Creek, where Zaidy’s became an important part of the Jewish community and the Denver food scene.

People from all over came to Zaidy’s for their special occasions, including graduation lunches, rehearsal dinners, birthday celebrations, and more. Zaidy’s was also a shoulder to cry on during more somber times, such as when a friend or loved one passed. One brief call to Gerard or his son Jason and everything was taken care of. You always knew that the right quantity of the right food for the occasion would arrive promptly and make everyone feel a little better.

Zaidy’s will carry on all of these traditions, but in the spirit of a new beginning, we’ll be starting some new ones that everyone is sure to adore.

For the first time ever, Zaidy’s will have its own in-house bakery so guests can enjoy freshly baked bagels, buns, homemade breads, and delicious pastries.

Our other offerings include carry-out and delivery services, catering trays, and box lunches for important events.

In early 2022, we plan to open a full market and deli where you may order a sandwich, pastry, and a cup of coffee to eat at one of our tables or take out.

We hope to see you again at our beautiful new home in Leetsdale, and to all of our new faces, we’re happy to have you join the Zaidy’s family.

Eat up!
